What can Shift Planning do?
The Shift Planning application offers an intuitive interface for creating and planning weekly, monthly, and quarterly shifts. Managers can easily compile shifts, copy existing plans, and monitor team occupancy and efficiency. Outputs can be exported to PDF—for example, for printing on bulletin boards or internal sharing. One of the main advantages of Shift Planning is its deep integration not only with SAP SuccessFactors (specifically with the Employee Central and Work Schedule modules), but it can also be easily connected to other HR systems according to customer needs.
The application takes into account vacations, holidays, and attendance data, and once the schedule is published, employees are notified directly in the system – on their computers and in the mobile app.
Thanks to the ability to delegate planning, shifts can be managed even when a supervisor is absent, which is especially appreciated by decentralized or shift operations.
